north
of the
Gargano

estate
of the
Marquis
Norante

to create
a particularly
favorable
environment
for
the
production
of wine.

San

Sangiovese
This
may
be
the
finest
value
in
pure
Sangiovese
in
the
marketplace...A
great
buy,
it
is
an
embarrassment
to
90%
of
the
California
Sangioveses
that
sell
for
three
to
five
times
the
price...and
are
inferior
wines.
This
deep
ruby-colored
2000
offers
an
expressive
perfume
of
sweet
black
cherries,
new
saddle
leather,
and
spice.
This
fleshy,
fruit-driven
Sangiovese
is
a
total
treat
to
drink.
