Beginning
with
the
1990
vintage,
the
Hope
ranches
became
the
sole
source
of
fruit
for
Liberty
School
Cabernet
Sauvignon,
of
which
they
later
became
owners.
Liberty
School
is
now
the
second-label
for
Treana
Winery.
The
Liberty
School
line
has
since
added
a
Central
Coast
Chardonnay,
now
in
its
second
vintage,
and
for
the
first
time
a
Syrah.
All
Liberty
School
wines
are
produced
and
bottled
in
Paso
Robles,
CA.,
the
home
of
delicious
wines
that
are
easy
to
enjoy.

Chardonnay
We
blended
fruit
from
two
of
the
best
Chardonnay
regions
in
the
state,
the
Santa
Maria
Valley
and
another
in
Monterey
County
in
the
famous
Santa
Lucia
Highlands.
There
are
nuances
of
Bartlett
pear,
pineapple
and
green
apples
in
the
nose.
The
finish
is
long,
balanced
and
never
cloying,
due
to
its
healthy
acidity.

Syrah
Much
of
the
fruit
dedicated
to
this
wine
comes
from
our
Treana
Estate
Vineyard.
The
wine's
nose
is
brimming
with
aromas
of
blackberry
brambles,
smoked
meats
and
currants.
On
the
palate
are
flavors
of
ripe
dark
cherries,
black
pepper
and
wild
exotic
berries.
The
wine
is
medium
to
full-bodied
with
an
intense
color.

Cabernet
Sauvignon
The
Cabernet
Sauvignon
fruit
that
composes
this
bottling
comes
from
not
only
Paso
Robles,
but
from
other
appellations
in
California
as
well.
This
wine
has
very
engaging
aromas
of
blackberry
brambles,
layered
with
dark
cherry,
chocolate
and
cassis.
On
the
palate,
initial
softness
amplifies
in
to
a
warm,
supple
firmness.
