The dark ruby/purple-colored 2000 Erte is a blend of equal parts Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. It possesses excellent depth, medium body, hints of saddle leather, black currants, chocolate, and a spicy, leathery finish. Enjoy this clean, pure Italian red over the next 4-5 years.
