| -Our current Finger Lakes Brut Chardonnay Champagne is a blend of the 1999 and 2000 vintages. The wine was made in the traditional Champenoise method of conducting a secondary fermentation in the bottle and letting the wine rest -on the lees- for a period of one and half years before -degorgement.- A bouquet of toasted bread and apples with hints of spice is followed by a rich texture in the mouth that stays light and crisp because of the fine bubbles. This slightly off-dry Burt makes a perfect celebratory drink that will match just about anything.- - Winery |
