Cavallotto’s 2005 Dolcetto d’Alba Vigna Scot exhibits a dark inky color along with a fleshy core of blue and black fruit, with excellent length on the palate and a slightly bitter note on the finish. It is a terrific, fully-flavored Dolcetto to enjoy now and over the next few years.
