| Rated 90 - An excellent value, the 2005 Three Gardens is a combination of 46% Shiraz, 44% Grenache, and 10% Mourvedre from 15- to 130-year-old vineyards. This elegant blend exhibits notes of anise, wood smoke, blackberries, cherries, pepper, and earth. Surprisingly fruity and rich with wonderful intensity as well as layers of flavor, it is a southern Rhone-like effort that will provide a lovely mouthful of wine over the next 3-4 years - Robert Parker |
